West Georgia Health Website
This was an extensive website developed for West Georgia Health of LaGrange, Georgia. I had a large role in nearly every aspect of this site's development. BrandSavvy developed the logo and design system for West Georgia and using this system our team developed many concepts for them to choose from each with the same information architecture and similar information wireframe. During the time the client spent making a decision on the design it was my duty to develop all of the site's applications. These applications included:
- Calendar with event registration, multiple dates, and categories all integrated with RSS feeds and social media
- Blog application with ability to manage multiple authors, categories, and tags all integrated with RSS feeds and social media
- News with RSS feeds and social media
- Physicians directory with search capabilities and Google maps integration
- Integrated and West Georgia Health branded Google Maps application with driving directions
- Biographies
Once the design decisions were made I took responsibility to develop the templates in valid XHTML and CSS. I then worked with a team member to integrate new and existing content as well as supply imagery for each page. We also made certain that all content was optimized for search engine results including using microformat markups in the content and applications.
